I first was uncertain of buying a flowmaster muffler over other brands. When i got the muffler i noticed on the box it has a limited lifetime warranty which is a big plus. I was also quite pleased with the sound i didnt want anything overly loud for daily use on my truck but it sounds great when you get on it. Ive heard from people when these mufflers break in there louder. I am happy with the quality and sound havent noticed any difference in hp or acceleration yet. I installed this muffler on a one owner 97 sierra pickup with a 350 before i bought it i cruised through you tube videos to see what they sound like the super 44 is louder than the 40. Havent lost mpg installing it either getting almost 20 on the hwy still used to be 17-18 so maybe a increase. If you want a clean nice sound out of your truck but not disgustingly loud and bad on back pressure this is it.
i installed this super 44 on my 2003 gmc yukon 4.8l v8 and its sounds better than my buddies 2005 tahoe 5.3l v8 with 40 series i read a few reviews on which one was louder and alot of people claimed the 40 series were and that is a bunch of bs i paid less that 100$ for this exhaust and installing it and my friends its the best thing i dont do my truck besides lowering it i will post pics and a video soon and once again thanx amazon for that fast ass shipping i got it 3 days after ordering with free shipping kick ass deal
If you want a great performing and sounding muffler, this is the one. I replaced a Magnaflow and the sound differece is incredible. Buy it and you will not regret it.
